As a tea plantation owner from Galle, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Don Chema with my family. Our spacious room provided a perfect retreat, complete with a lovely balcony where my children enjoyed morning tea while gazing at the verdant hills. Don Chema's family-friendly atmosphere is commendable. The children loved the engaging activities organized on-site, particularly the nature walks that highlighted the region's lush landscapes and rich biodiversity-a wonderful introduction to our tea culture. the hotel staff readily accommodated our needs, ensuring our stay was comfortable and welcoming. While my family and I have traveled extensively, this experience stood out for its inclusive environment. With amenities catered for families-such as activities for up to two children under sixteen-Don Chema proved to be an excellent choice for our family vacation. I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a blend of relaxation and family bonding in Sri Lanka.
