As a tea plantation owner from Galle, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Don Chema with my family. Our spacious room provided a perfect retreat, complete with a lovely balcony where my children enjoyed morning tea while gazing at the verdant hills. Don Chema's family-friendly atmosphere is commendable. The children loved the engaging activities organized on-site, particularly the nature walks that highlighted the region's lush landscapes and rich biodiversity—a wonderful introduction to our tea culture. the hotel staff readily accommodated our needs, ensuring our stay was comfortable and welcoming. While my family and I have traveled extensively, this experience stood out for its inclusive environment. With amenities catered for families—such as activities for up to two children under sixteen—Don Chema proved to be an excellent choice for our family vacation. I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a blend of relaxation and family bonding in Sri Lanka.
